The Legg Group specialise in condensed matter physics and quantum computing. In particular, our research investigates the intersection of quantum effects and topology in nanoscale devices and novel materials. Utilising a combination of analytical methods and numerical techniques, we focus on transport effects – recently with a strong focus on non-equilibrium transport beyond linear response – and on superconducting phenomena including topological superconductivity and superconducting diodes.
